AndrewDavison Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Can anyone tell me how to replace the rear license plate bulb on a Citroen Xsara 1.4 (W reg 2000) ? The manual says to remove the outer screws, but I cannot see any ! Do I need to remove the hatchback inside covers and get to it from behind (inside) ? I got the W 5 W from Halfords (501 bulbs) Andrew Quote
Johndouglas Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Use a small screwdriver and prise the light away from the boot lid. Remove the wiring connector. Bend the tag on the side of the fitting which will release the bulb holder. Quote
iannez Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 there is a hole on each side of the lens. use something sharp and insert it into one of the holes. gently lever away from the light and the lens will fall off. Quote
