KeithC5 Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 I just bought a 55 plate, C5 1.6HDi VTR, on looking through the handbook I am concerned that my car doesn't do things that I think it is supposed to. It doesn't close the windows when locking the doors with a long press or double press of the remote button. The mirrors don't fold back electrically, either with the mirror switch or when locking the doors. The nearside mirror doesn't tilt downwards when selecting reverse gear. I know that all cars have different features on different variants of different models but these are not mentioned as optional or just on certain models in the handbook. Can anyone advise please? Thanks Quote

Thanks If I remember correctly, the handbook for my 2001 SX is the same, it mentions features which are only on Exclusive models or options. I think that all the things you mention are not standard on a VTR. The exception is the remote closing of the windows, which I believe was on all models. This feature can be activated or de-activated by a dealer according to customer preference, but I don't know how....... anybody else???? Quote
Johndouglas Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 You can't go by what's in the handbooks. They put the same handbooks in every model. Mine is for a 2005 version and it still refers to changing the "LHM". Quote
