Johndouglas Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 this new thing called flocking It isn't new - It's been around for thirty years. I remember when it first came out; blokes were having their dashboards and windscreen surrounds done out in it. Looked like a tom's boudoir - IMHO! Quote

ColinC1 Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 You get used to the metal finish of the doors, mind you in darker coloured cars you do not notice it much, but in my red it stands out quite a bit ;) The door cards come off easy, you will find my writeup on the subject in this C1 forum.link...... http://www.citroen-owners-club.co.uk/citro...?showtopic=4449 You could then either finish in leather, or paint it to a suttle colour, or finish in 'carbon fibre look' sheeting. There is also a white plastic paint finish you spray on (door cards removed) that looks exactly like the trim on the side walls in the back of the car, but I decided not to do that as I find white very distracting, so I will just live with my red interior doors. PS.. If you were thinking of flocking the cars interior, you will need matching fluffy dice :D Quote
