Johndouglas Posted May 22, 2008 Posted May 22, 2008 Have you had the rear arm bearings checked? If they are worn they can give rise to creaks and groans. Quote

It sounds like the bearings have a very small amount of play in them. It takes a long while for them to go and the results is undue pressure on the rest of the suspension system which can lead to all manner of problems and very big repair bills. If the rear wheels look like this: ///=====\\\ as you are looking at the rear of the car, then you need them changed asap. The worse the problems get, the worse the inward castor will be and the creaking noise will become unbearable over every bump. Quote
