DickieG Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 To alter the ride height, firstly make sure the car is properly supported such as on ramps otherwise you will literally get squashed <_< :( The height is controlled by height correctors which take the information on the ride height from a clamp/linkage on the each antiroll bar. To alter the ride height the engine has to be running, with the height lever in the normal position. The front height corrector/antiroll bar is located behind the engine so you need to get right under the car, you will then see the height corrector as a round disc/drum with a metal linkage which attaches to a white plastic link then onto the clamp mentioned above. Loosen the clamp securing bolt, then GENTLY move/twist the clamp up/down a small amount at a time and allow 10 seconds or so for the suspension to settle. When the desired height has been achieved tighten the bolt, job done. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE ABILITY OF THE CAR TO DROP ON YOUR HEAD IF NOT PROPERLY SUPPORTED. PROVIDED the above safety issues are heeded, its a relatively straightforward job Quote
