topcatt35 Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 WELL IVE HAD THE WHEELS BALANCED 5 TIMES AS CITROEN SAID GET WHEELS BALANCED. BUT STILL HAVE THE STEERING SHAKING AT 60 MPH TO 70MPH AND WHEN PUTTING YOUR FOOT DOWN, WELL PROBLEM SOLVED BY MY BROTHER AGAIN, IT WAS THE OFFSIDE DRIVESHAFT. THIS HAS BEEN CAUSED WHEN THE CAMBELT WAS DONE HE IS SAYING. THE INNER BOOT HAD SLIPPED OFF AND DRYED OUT WHICH CAUSED THE VIBRATION IN THE CAR. CITROEN WANTS £200 FOR A EXCHANGE DRIVESHAFT. I GOT LUCKY MY BROTHER GOT ME ONE FOR £60 PLUS £30 FITTING THE DRIVESHAFTJUST THOUGHT ID WOULD SHARE MY PROBLEM WITH YOU LOT ON HERE.REGARDS DALE Quote
