Hello all,

Another soon to be C1 owner. I've just setup a deal to trade my aging Vectra 2.0l in & pay the remaining difference for a brand spanking new C1 Rhythm in the standard red colour. Deposit is paid, just waiting for the car to be built.

I've been in the hunt for a new car for the best part of a year, but my biggest problem is my lack of car knowledge. After driving a friends aygo & then test driving a C1, I knew it would be the ideal car for my needs. I currently commute 30 miles a day in mostly bumper to bumper traffic & fuel in the Vectra is costing me in the region of £180 per month. Add to that the yearly tax which is soon to go up & my pockets are seriously hurting.

Started seriously trying to buy a C1 from the local dealship, but walked out in frustration at what was frankly micky mouse style sales people. I was being offered £200 trade for my Vectra, they wouldn't budge on price, and then used terms such as 'what do expect its already cheap', ' if £7000 is out of your budget you might as well forget it'.

I ended up finding a great website & a great help in Mike at New Citreon deals.co.uk. He managed to hook me up with a new C1 Rhythm in Scarlet red which with trade in on my vectra came to little over £6k. Car is being trailer delivered to my door as well, with collection of my Vetra same day.

Can't wait! My first ever new car, bargain price, and hopefully much cheaper motoringfor a while.

Nice to be part of the community!

Welcome to the forum ;)

I hope you're as happy with the C1 as I've been!

I had to drive for eight hours yesterday, and the car was brilliant and I had no aches or pains afterwards :(
