Hello ;)

This seems to be about the only forum where anyone is talking about the C6 in English. I've just bought one pre-reg, having owned 124 cars previously and decided to stop NOW and buy the one car I've always wanted - a brand new big Citroën. Too many CXs and XMs that have been neglected by previous owners in my history...

I've got a car built June 2007, registered Jan '08 and finally sold now - I think this is fairly typical. It has RT4, but I'm wondering if it will have a CD changer too.

If it doesn't, does the CD-changer option allow MP3 CDs? I'd like six discs worth of MP3 CDs, the 10GB isn't really sufficient and the USB box seems like a bit of a kludge. Unless it's possible to defeat the safety interlock on the AV inputs, of course...

Other UK drivers - mine's an Iron Grey V6 HDi with a fairly distinctive plate. Wave if you see me!

Hi Richard, I also have an iron grey 2.7. Mine is second hand (previous owner Citroen) and I thought the deal they did was fanastic. Mine was registered in 2007.

I THINK mine is RT3 - it does play MP3 CD's and does have a six disk changer, boot mounted. My issue is connecting my IPOD to it - bought an expensive cable from apple that works perfectly, so long as the car is stationary!

The only other C6 I see regularly, a dark blue one near me in north Cardiff does exchange flashes, btw!

Lovely Car the C6. Don't see many about. I have seen a Dark Blue one maybe the same as what you saw norm.

Here is 2 pics of my 1/43 Scale C6 Diecast Models. I collect Citroen Diecast Models.

I had the The Welsh Registration Plates Custom Made for the Red C6.

The models look great.

My C6 travels the M4 Cardiff / Swansea a couple of days a week but is then mainly north Cardiff suburbs.

Thank You. I need to get the Silver and Blue ones now to add to my collection.

Citroen have really pulled all the stops out on the C6. Its a stunning car and looks better than the German cars.

If I won the lotto tonight id like a C6. A green one.

Have you C6 owners driven the other engine type C6s before buying yours then. Bet they are nippy are they.

It's my first experience with a deisel car so the way it puts down its power (big torque / low revs) took a little getting used to - easy to stick down foot and not appreciate your speed due to "lack of noise response" compared to petrol.

It does seem slow when it pulls away first, but as a long distance cruiser is quite fanastic. Since purchase have got average 32.5 mpg which I think pretty good.

My friend had a C3 1.4HDi 70BHP and he renwed it to a C3 1.4i 75BHP Petrol and he's noticed the power difference already. The Diesel seem to have more guts in it especialy going up hills like.

the 2.7HDi seems to be the C6s popular choice. There is a 2.2HDi but wheather thats as good as the 2.7HDi I don't know.

I am shocked the new C5 ain't getting the 3.0 V6 engine anymore.

Citroen seems to be cutting down on big engines. Im sure the C4 Picasso/Grand Picasso 1.8i 16v Engine is being replaced with a 1.6i 16v 120BHP.

Some review sites say the 3 litre petrol engine is both slower and more fuel hungry than the 2.7HDi. I guess that spelled its death knell for the C5.

I should imagine it is as your pulling a big car arn't you like and if you are getting 32.5mpg in the HDi god help the Petrol engine.

Whats the Auto Gearbox like?

No problem with auto box. On V steep hills I am still to master zero roll hill starts with the electronic handbrake that does not have sensitivity of manual handbrake.

Well, I've been trotting about in mine for nearly 2 months now, 3,300 miles done! I've yet to see another when I'm driving mine, but I did see a black one on the M6.

I've got the Norev 1:18 model - it's amazing, but the wrong colour. The door bins open/close...

Hi All

I have been a C6 driver now for about 3 years and absolutely love the car but unfortunately the time is coming to an end. As the C6 was a company car the time has come to return it and I must say I will be disappointed for it to leave me.

Anyway the good news for you C6 Owners is that the private plate I have on my exclusive is now up for grabs...

C6 EXC

For anyone who is intererested in purchasing this plate then drop me an email to timothymelia@yahoo.co.uk and let me know your offer.

This plate gets you noticed and must say that it looks great on my Black C6 Exclusive and could lookk just as good on yours also.

I have the plate now on retention and could be yours in a matter of days....
