kfk Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 check the rear light bulbs are fitted correctly.........brake light filament dangling and touching side light filament?.....current then goes up side light circuit when brakes applied? Check correct bulbs fitted into correct holders. Quote

Tony Fuller Bumper off to change a sidelight?? No way. I have changed the offside bulb with no problem, and watched the nearside being changed in the garage ( car was in for engine diagnostics and the bulb had just blown) Both 5 minute jobs, no need to remove the bumper and take out the headlamp unit. I was fiddle but the the young man did the job, great! The book by the bulbs specified the wrong type of bulb so I was very glad I had not gone away with it, removed the bumper, etc. only to find I had been sold the wrong bulb! Quote
