Did everyone get a recall for the picasso having to go in to have cups fitted on the suspension springs to stop then snapping and hitting the tyres ?

Ours is going in within the next few weekends...

*Shrugs.* fuctifano.

Basically they brought my car in, hooked it up onto the net and gave it back to me. Something about a software glitch that doesn't maximise the car's potential.

Didn't get around to Dyno-testing it, but I got a pic on my phone of 127mph in it.

(Just have to figure out how to send it to my e-mail.)

(Erm, on track, off road . . . of course . . . constable.) :D

My Pluriel had this work done when I took it in for something else. But I did not get any notification that it needed doing, first I knew was when the garage called to find out where the locking bolts for the wheels were. I thought this was a strange request as they were replacing a boot lid trim

Only found out when I collected the car that they had done the cup replacement.

That would be right, the cars aren't "recalled" the work just gets done when you put it into the garage for something, anything, and i understand they are not allowed to give the car back to you until the work has been done, they would be leagally responsible for any accident. I would like to point out, respectfully, that it isn't to stop the spring snapping, but, if they do they won't go into the tyre.

Today i fitted front discs and found the out side of the cup is polished to shiny metal where it is rubbing on the plastic inner wing protection.
