Xantia Clutch Problem

my citroen xantia hdi w reg could someone tell me if this model is fitted with a clutch cable or some form of hydraulics as my clutch pedal has gone soft and i cannot get the car in gear

Clutch operation on HDi is hydraulic (all other Xantias are cable)
