Oxymoron Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 Hi, The 25K mile service is due on my B'lingo in a few weeks time....What can I expect to pay for this service? Cheerz. Quote
pork_pie Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 My guess - about £200-250. Citroen - very dear. Labour costs work out at £85 an hour. Quote
Terry1100 Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 At least Citroen are good at recognising the independents under Block Exemption. I'm delighted to be out of the dealer network and still within the warranty - and paying £160 for a better job than the main dealer would do anyway  . Quote
tronboy Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 I'll let you know what my 50,000 mile service costs tomorrow! I've had the HDi for exactly 2 years today, so clocking 'em up!! TronX Quote
slasher Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 I've just had the 2 yr/25k service done, it was supposed to be £165 but only cost me £120 as the assistant who booked it told me the wrong price and so they honored it :D I reckon it's fair anyway as the car has done less than 6000 miles and £120 is a lot for what is basically an oil change. tronboy Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 Cost of my 50,000 mile service done two years to the day since she was first driven off the forecourt was £170. Now the question is do I trade in a near immaculate 50,000 mile Multispace with just under 10,000 miles left on the warranty for the new 1.6HDi 92bhp model whilst it's still got warranty, or do I run it for another couple of years? It's such a purdy M'space too in that Mediterranean Blue with alloys, Electric Sunroof, ABS/Safety pack and aircon. All the toys!! TronX Quote
clanixion Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 I got rid of my Gold Bling after I hit 60,000 miles after 18 months, my silver Bling is on course for the same mileage but I'm looking at trading in for the Pug equivalent - only to get away from Citroen servicing. My 25,0000 service cost me £180, the 37,500 service cost £300 including new front disks and pads. Quote
DesdinovaUK Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 Booked in for 37.5 K tomorrow. Prices from dealers here in Kent ranged from £295 in Asford, to £370 in Canterbury! The 25K was only about £125 in Ashford when the dealer I bought from wanted £200+ Quote
Oxymoron Posted October 14, 2005 Author Posted October 14, 2005 Hi, My local dealer wants £202.60 inc.vat for the 25k service....They also suggested a brake fluid change costing £28 and an aircon "service" at about £96! :o Think I will try a local independent Peugeot/Citroen servicing establishment for a quote too! Cheerz. :D Quote
rickyxsara Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 37500 mile service on HDI Forte £120 here in N.Ireland at Citroen dealership. Quote
