Guest Oiltech Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 2002 C5 2.0 HPI exclusive SE, 63,000 miles - Anti-pollution system fault displays every time engine is started, warning light remains on, all the time. Fault codes P0304 cylinder 4 misfire and P1336 Catalyst aging show when diagnostic checked - unable to reset faults. New spark plugs fitted but no change. Engine has developed a fault during the last couple of weeks, it revs freely through the range under load without misfiring. It was occasionally hesitant if pressed hard during accelaration prior to plug replacement. Previous hassles - VTC hub replaced at 40,000 miles, High pressure fuel pump at 51,000 miles and EGR valve at 53,000 miles. Unreliable engine spoils an otherwise good spec. car. Any advice or suggestions what to check would be appreciated, have access to TEXA IDC3 diagnostic equipment. Quote
