Guest fredcatt Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Hi everyone. I need to fit a complete exhaust system to my Synergie 2.0 HDi. Has anyone done this job ? I was wondering how easy it is to access the connection on the manifold pipe behind the engine. I know it is tackled from underneath but could it be done with the vehicle on axle stands or would it need to be upon a ramp like garages have? All answers appreciated. Just been reading that sad post from PamC8 It`s got me worried now as my cambelt is recomended renewed at 100,000 miles, it`s just clocked up 94,500. Quote
techbod Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 probably need it higher than axle stands but still need them for safety reasons I use a large trolley jack but a garage lift would be easier, timing belt should be changed if you have owned it from new or have all the service documents as it might have been done Quote
