Elwyn Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 I have a P reg ZX diesel which has been standing for a month. When I went to start it the immobilizer lights remained red and green despite putting in the correct code. I thought it might be a flatish battery (though she did heat and turn ok), so I charged the battery but still the immobiliser light remain red and green and she won't start. Help please!!!!!!!Elwyn Quote
techbod Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Most of these green and red light probs come after the battery has been disconnected. Here is the usual remedy. Dissconnect the battery, turn the ignition on, reconnect the battery, wait about 1min, turn off the ignition, turn on, enter code and away you go. Quote

Thanks for that, but it didn't work - any other ideas please? Should both the red and green come on together when turning the ignition? When I enter the code the bleeps sound but the red and green lights stay on . I notice that the security light on the radio dims when I turn the ignition on but the panel lights stay bright. Is it time to say good-bye to her?!!!! Elwyn Quote
