michaelcarts Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I have a 2002 Xsara 1.4......... (no Haynes manual available). My drivers handbook has the usual section on fuses and relays, but makes no mention at all of the fuse/relay for the screenwasher pump.Possibly it shares with the wiper motor, but the book makes no suggestion of this. Does anyone know which fuse/relay covers the screenwasher pump ? Quote

michaelcarts Posted January 13, 2009 Author Posted January 13, 2009 fuse number F24 in the dash facia Thanks Dave.In my Owner's Handbook, F24 is listed as "Audio Sysrem".Is it likely (or even possible) that both share the same fuse ? Quote
techbod Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 definitely not shared with radio? check the fuse that does the rear wiper/washer system, windscreen wash/wipe, windscreen wiper motor and rain sensor that's the fuse your looking for or do what I do and check all the fuses with a multimeter Quote
michaelcarts Posted January 15, 2009 Author Posted January 15, 2009 definitely not shared with radio? check the fuse that does the rear wiper/washer system, windscreen wash/wipe, windscreen wiper motor and rain sensor that's the fuse your looking for or do what I do and check all the fuses with a multimeterThanks again dave.If the washer and wipers share the same fuse, then the fuse is not my problem since all wipers work ok.I was hoping to find a fuse or relay that was dedicated to the washer pump as this is the only component (front and rear) not working.Suspicions must next fall on the washer pump itself, access to which is not immediately obvious. And Haynes have seen fit not to produce a manual for this model/year.Oh deep joy. techbod Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 I would still use a multimeter with a bleep test and check all the fuses, the bleep test is the best because its audible so no guessing if the fuse is ok Quote
