Colin just saw your post about what I called ABS Rings I wish I had seen it last year it might have saved me buying CV Joints, and having the problem with the Gaiter Clips. Thanks again Allan

I sold my Xantia almost a year ago now as it had just been one problem after the other in the first few weeks of the year. Sods law though! The bloke who bought it has had an (almost) trouble free year so I must have got everything fixed before it went! The reluctor rings, although still in one piece and in place, were decidedly ropy and in fact I was amazed they still worked. The guy who bought it says they're still OK so it just goes to show! I'd have been interested to know how you'd got on if you had got new ones.

I can only give advice on this topic and depends on the road conditions you drive which i'm sure you are aware off and the claims should be directed at the council ( farmers need not apply ) <_<

the reluctor ring is on the newer cars where as its part of the cv joint on the older type
