Ignition Switch

Hi guys yet more problems.

 

This morning my key snapped in the ignition. Any ideas on how to change the barrel? 1.9 avantage diesel non turbo.

That's a picture of the ignition,

to remove the barrel take the plastic cowling off then turn the ignition to first auxiliary position ( as the key is still in there you should be able to turn it by inserting the rest of the key ) now if you look on the barrel at 1 o'clock that facing the dash so at the rear of the barrel,

 

you will see a small hole to insert a thin pin this releases the barrel so you can pull it out then all you have to do is remove the broken part and use another key
