Guest S&M Inc Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Greetings to all, I've just purchased a 2003 C5 SX 2.0 HDi (110 bhp) Estate to replace my 2002 Picasso SX that sadly lost an arguement with a wall. My picasso had a flashing diode within the hazard warning light switch to warn the immobiliser was armed (It wasn't alarmed) I was wondering if the C5 has a similar function (It isn't alarmed either) If so how do I activate said function? Many thanks for reading this far Quote
coastline taxis Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 the c5 has a built in alarm and immobiliser and is activated by the key fob when locking and unlocking the doors and i would imagine that your old car had exactley the same on it Quote
Guest S&M Inc Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Thanks for your post Steve Unfortunately my C5 is only the SX so whilst it has remote locking and an immobiliser it isn't alarmed hence I was hoping there was someway to indicate the immobiliser is operational. Thanks again Scott Quote
coastline taxis Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 think for that kind of info youd need to ask kfk or ianezz to see if they can source it out for you Quote
Guest sirdrinksalot Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 not sure if there is an indicator but you soon know if theres a problem as the car wont start and it flashes up with immobilizer fault... Quote
