Whats uo with yours then

Hi I don't no how to copy links but if you would go to page 2 on technical and read topics

colour monitor/wirer colour help

or in short it been playing up it works now and again and it affects the radio and the stalk for the radio

My car has been into the main dealers because of the Suspension it took them 2 weeks to tell me it was the pump this time when I collected I made sure as the display was working when it went in it was working it was but I drove from the dealers to the shops and it started to play up mid week it was dead I took it back after lots of complaining they looked at it 2 hours later they told me it was the computer at £1400 I didn't believe that it could be so they had the car for a week and now they say its the display £600+ I don't believe that as I have tried a display from a scrapyard but the insist that it is the display but they will not get one in to prove it

I have no faith in the dealer they have look at my car five times in total at a cost of nearly £2000 the only paper work you get is the bill I have asked for the diagnostic paper work but they don't give you it as they are the only main dealer and it has to be main dealer only work I have no choose so if I can get mine tested or a new display and it doesn't work I can go back to them

forgot all about this posting. Had something like this a few years ago. so just a few questions as some of your posts/spelling are misleading me a bit

Are we talking about the display in the center of the car because in your original post (in technical) your asking about the sat nav drive.

If you tried one from the scrappy and it worked why not just buy it and put it on the car.

Anyway does the problem get worse the hortter the interior gets as the reason im asking is because the one we sorted had more or less the same symptoms and it turned out to be some diode thingy on the back of the stereo head unit that kept overheating and shutting the display and stalks down.

Try running a couple of days with the head unit out altogether
