Dasboard Failure

I have a 1997 Xantia 1.8 LX. 2 days ago my dash board failed completely. No instuments and no warning lights. It came back on for about 30 seconds then went off again. Can any shed any light on ths problem?

Check that the battery has volts in it.

Then check battery connections - also heavy lead down to starter motor.

Check earth connection straps.
