Oh Dear - New Wing Needed!

Hi all.

I scraped my brand new red C1 against a post yesterday :( , and now I'm told I need a new passengers side wing. It's scraped and bent so the passenger door won't open. One of the little brackets for the headlight is broken too. Dad reckons he can get a new wing from Europe Car Parts for about £65.

1. Is the wing easy for my dad/mate to replace (he wants to know if it's bolted on or welded on?)

2. Will I need a new headlight, or can the bracket be bought seperately (or fixed)?

Thanks!

Kim

also, is it true that the wings/headlights from a Peugeot 107 or Toyota are the same?

Thanks!

Looking at Citroen's parts diagrams, it looks as though the wing is bolted on. But to reach some of the bolts, maybe the door will have to come off. As regards the headlamp brackets, they are usually part of the headlamp casing. I've managed a repair in the past by using strong glue, reinforced with a thin piece of alloy sheet.

Hi, Thanks for getting back to me.

Any chance you know where I could find this parts diagram, so dad could have a look before taking it apart?

It's bolt on, had similar last year & repairers bought the wing in ready painted.

Shame the police were too lazy to prosecute the (traced) hit & run idiot responsible.

Anyone know how many bolts, and where they are?

Thanks!

Here you go:-

The bolt numbered 80 is the wing bolts. Looks to be four of them.
