I had posted a while back regarding this but no one replied . As before the switch when pressed either for goin up or down makes a pinging noise but the car does not move. I know the ignition has to be off . What does the switch connect to , is it a seperate pump ? . I have also swapped the switch to no avail , has anyone got an answer to this ?

Have you checked the wiring to the switch. and why not `give it a try with the engine running also does the switch in between the seat work the suspension ok and finaly have you got a tow bar fitted (just incase anyone has used the power supply for the switch to the tow bar)

The centre console switch works fine and yes the car has a towbar and the wiring is connected on the opposite side of the switch . I cant remember trying it with the engine running . Its very puzzeling , mostly the pinging noise it makes . There must be power to the switch due to the noise it makes.

What do you mean by pinging noise. Is the noise there when you use the center switch

No the noise comes from the rear switch , Its similiar to when you leave a door open etc .

The garage used a super douper scanner/code reader , it was a good one as they regenerated the cat after renewing my elyos fluid which added to the various messages. Having some drop links fitted today so will ask them to hook it up and see if they can get into the suspension. You think I need lexia etc ?
