Hi there.

Is it an estate or a saloon/hatchback?

In reverse order, Mid Kent Vehicles 01622 794499 or 0800 8409555.

On the estate, this is usually the small button that does the tailgate glass. Lift the glass by itself, remove the plastic cover that covers the switch mechanism inside, and disconnect the two wires. Job done. The glass will no longer open by itself and you will need to replace the switch, but the car will now lock. If it's the main tailgate, then the switch/latch that fires off the courtesy light is damaged or stuck. Find it and lubricate/replace. HTH.

If your car is an Exclusive Estate with a 2.0/2.2/6 speed HDi with under 100,000 miles on the clock pop round to my place and you can have £1,200 for it. :)
