coastline taxis Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 Be Very careful what your doing with these gearboxes. You should try just changing the oil first and DO NOT use bog standard atf oil. Its a special oil (esso) Youd be better of letting the dealer do it. Weve just had one of our auto c5s done at town center citroen £100 plus the vat but worth every penny. We get oil changed every year and the box has a 140k on it now and its still like a new box with no probs at all Quote

Guest cfryve Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Take Coastline's advice, go to a citroen dealer for your oil. It's not an easy job to change the oil and there isn't a filter to change as such. It's quite a tricky job getting the oil level right. Quote
