coastline taxis Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 It will be the stepper motor on the back of the head unit. If you do a search on here under stepper motor youl understand your problem and the fix a lot more Quote
Guest pbres Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Hello All,Yes do the search and grasp the nettle to do yr own repair!I did and took about 30mins DIY to get the dead speedo working again with total cost £0.Probably a loose connection or loose needle on my 9yr old C5 and MUCH cheaper repair than a £540 instrument cluster or £80 diagnostic fee from the local dealer. Many thanks to CoastlineTaxis especially for his useful info over several threadsRgds,Paul Breslin Quote
