Hi

I am just brought a C5 HDI 2.2 on a 2002 plate. For some reason when you hit 50 mph it screws up the speedo, the needle wont go back to zero any ideas??

How easy is it to replace the speedo??

Regards

Chris

Hello All,

Yes do the search and grasp the nettle to do yr own repair!

I did and took about 30mins DIY to get the dead speedo working again with total cost £0.

Probably a loose connection or loose needle on my 9yr old C5 and MUCH cheaper repair than a £540 instrument cluster or £80 diagnostic fee from the local dealer.

Many thanks to CoastlineTaxis especially for his useful info over several threads
