Guest steve_c47 Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 Hi I have a Relay which is a 2.2hdi, 2005 model, can anyone tell me how to bleed the clutch. The slave cylinder has what looks like a nipple but it is fixed to the cylinder & has no bleed screw fitted. I got it working by pumping the pedal but I would feel better if I could see if there was still air in the system. I asked my local dealer for advice but as usual they wouldn't help. Quote
coastline taxis Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Where the pipe goes into the slave cylinder there is a clip. remove the clip but keep the pipe pushed in. than get someone to gently press clutch pedal a few times then hold the pedal down. push the clip back into the slave cylinder and you should have a pedal. We had to do it a couple of times and remember to keep the brake resovoir topped up Quote
