Guest ronbob Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 On my engine breather pipe oil is coming through leaking down the engine I think from under the cover of the carburettor and a bit running into the air filter. Has anyone any idea s why this is happens and what would happen if you sealed off the breather pipe. The breather pipe is nearly blocked with oil substance because it’s gone white. Quote
coastline taxis Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Its will just get worse if you block it off. The engine needs to breath in order to run correctly missing the service intervals and using shite bits will cause this ( unless the engine is riddled with back pressure). Clean the breather system out by removing all the breather houses and cleaning them thouroghly then a oil and filters change and maybe a flushing oil. Quote
