I have a leak on either the line from the washer pump to the trear wiper or on the pump fitting into the rear line.

When i activate the washer it works fine for the front wipers. Trying the rear wiper gives me a pool of washer fluid on the floor under the drivers door.

I can hear the pump working and the noise seems to come from somewhere inside / behind the offside front wheel arch.

I cannot see the pump from in the engine compartment or under the car.

I have bought a replacement pump, only a few quid and it can be used on my wifes C5 if necessary.

Can anybody tell me exactly where yhe pump is and how do i go about removing the old pump and fitting the new pump with new hose etc.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Regards

Not definitely - but it might be similar to the C5. If so, you'll need to remove the front bumper because the bottle is behind the wing. To change the pump, disconnect the wiring and the pump body just pulls out of the rubber grommet.

Remove the protective arch from under the wing on the drivers side by squeexing the "clippy thingys" and pulling them out with a long nosed pliers. The reservoir is there in front of you then, you might need a bungee cord to hold it up if full
