Guest willander Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Hello, i am thinking of buying a tuning chip to improve the mpg on my c8.is fitting the chip easy.Has anyone fitted a chip. How exactly do i do it Quote
Johndouglas Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 They usually come with fitting instructions. They usually increase torque output and your DMF may not handle it for too long.On another forum I read that pending new MOT regs will probably include aftermarket engine modifications. A ecu rewrite might not be so obvious. Quote
Guest Glynnpt Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 bought one from eBay. About £100. Don't go for the cheap ones. I found that I got better MPG. It looked daunting to fit, but it was only a bit fiddly. you have to remove 3 bolts on a big rubber pipe. Thought it was going to be impossible to reach the last one, but only needed to twist the pipe out of the way. much more difficult to remove it though. Citroen specialist the car is with at the moment rates them Quote
