Hi Guy's I also have noticed on drivers door (2011 1.6 e-hdi egs6 sloon ) a bolt that does not seem to do anything but has rusted and also my old 2009 vtr+ (that my friend next door bought of me) that also has this bolt that seems to do nothing which has rusted.

Hi Guy's I have the 2011 e-hdi 1.6 egs6 c5 x7 and would like to try a c5 x7 2lt hdi auto . I have seen a nice 2008 2ltr hdi auto exclusive with 40k on the clock with a full service sheet ( as mine has ). I want the exclusive because it has the fluid suspension ( mine has the steel springs ). What would you do ,stick with what I have or try and get a good c5 x7 exclusive. I have not much money has I have just spent £2.500 on the gear box on the 2011 car ( 81k ). I trust you will come back with a sensible answer for my problem .

Hi Guy's My C5 X7 e-hdi stop/start . has two battery's. One is an accumulator that will hold a charge for up to three months and this is only to start the car then the other battery is a very expensive " normal " battery .When I start my car first thing in the morning the car starts so quick it sound like a turbine. As I understand when the engine is warm is is started by the alternator which is why it starts instantly on the stop start . The accumulator for the stop start is on the near side of the engine somewhere near the fuse box.

is it poss. to increase the strength of the boot lid springs on a c5 x7. When my wife closes the boot lid she just lets it drop and BANG the lid closes. It would be nice to when pressing the opener switch it would just rise a little.

Hi Guy's Is it poss to get a Lexia that would work on my 2011citroen c5 x7 1.6 e-hdi with the egs6 gear box? I have a clone I bought off the bay and it works well with my 2009 c5 x7 but it will not find the egs6 gear box on my 2011 model. All I want to do is set the clutch.

Hi I have a 2011 c5 1.6 e-hdi and wanted to fit one of those reversing cam,s so I looked on ebay and found many to choose from and at anything from 18 quid to 25 quid so I got one and it took me about an hour to fit and to this day is still working very well. Have a look mate. There are the 100 quid to 200quid one,s but they don,t in my mind do any better.

I have been trying to join the C4 Picasso forum now for two or three day's. I know I have a c5 and not a c4 picasso but the c4 picasso does share the egs6 gearbox so I thought it would be useful. I have been waiting for my permission to log on but I think they are all asleep.

Hi I tried for the downloaded version and it was a load of poo. Waste of time but of course they have you money by the time you have it downloaded and they wont can't give you a refund . It's up to you.

Hi Guy's Do you guy's know where the clutch reservoir is on the 2011 c5 1.6 egs6 gearbox car??? Had the garage top it up because having probs. but I can't find it. Remember the egs6 uses a power operated clutch.

Hi, only the exclusive has the chrome strip on top of the rear bumper. What you can see is the drain holes for the water.
