  1. I did'nt think of that! :D Very good point! Scratch my "Vote" from the sport one. Retreats with hands over head
  2. Hi and welcome, cant comment on the delivery date as my car was bought second hand.
  3. Whilst i was in the Citroen dealership today i actually saw someone looking to buy a C6. My mum loved it when i pointed it out to her.
  4. The same way you can explain having a motorbike as your avatar on a Citroen Car forum. :D Just like the way it sounds. What is the relevance of "sport" in a C2 club?
  5. Hi and welcome
  6. Its a mile down the road, and i mean DOWN the road! Luckily! :D
  7. Is there a more boring way of spending a day at a track? BORING!
  8. There is a concept in America where the cars drive themselves on the Freeway. They travel in a large group, about 3-5 feet from each other! They all "talk" to each other and therefore dont need the same braking distance as humans because there is no thinking time. Personally i would hate that. For 1, I would not be driving! and 2, I would not feel safe that close to the other car! I guess it would be good for people with no lisence, or people who hate driving.
  9. Yep i have had that too. I was on the way back from Eastbourne, and it said i had exactly the same amount of miles left as the amount of miles back home. I have to say i was a bit worried ;) . It got to about 15-20 miles and then it stopped reading it! :P Never thought i would run out, until i lost the reading. Then you start imagining the worst! I got home fine!
  10. Or you could just lower the speed with the Cruise Contol on and the car will decelerate. I also love the cruise control!
  11. Mine did that after it was bought (second hand). Again it was just a software patch that solved the problem! Easy Peesy! :o
  12. Cant remember if i got the Engine Warning lights when my Cruise Control played up. My was a very easy software patch. My dad dropped it off on the way to work, and picked it up on the way back.

    Hello

    Hi, I saw 3 today!!!!!!!! :o
  14. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o I am lost for words!!!!!!!!!! How is this bad!! Unless you are a private detective, criminal ect then how on earth can that be a bad thing! I love the looks and attention i get! Have also found that, but just need to cup the knob instead. ( I know what your thinking, you dirty soul! :o) I can skip front and back Radio Stations, but not CD tracks. Love the brakes.
  15. LOVES HOW COULD ANYONE NOT MENTION THE LOOKS YOU GET FROM PEOPLE!!!!!!!!! My mother was in the car with me yesterday and she couldnt believe how many people were staring at the car! I find the controls on the steering wheel a doddle. Have hit the horn a couple of times, only twice though. Love the cornering. Displays. Sound of engine <_< (Even in a 1.4!!!) The fact that i can beat ford focus's off the line! Boy racer pulled up along side me in a focus (therefore min. engine size= 1.4), he had limo tints front and back (naughty naughty), fart cannon, loud music ect ect and he started revving his engine. When the light went green, i had a shite start and still managed to kick his arse!(within the speed limits i might add!!) (And i had two mates in the car to make the car heavier) We were in a mood to get our own back from the years abuse from chaves (due to us going to public schools). Too many things i love about the car to list! Hates Visibility ( Front, rear, mirrors ect) There must be more but i cant think of any, proves that there are nothing to worry about!
  16. I think i may be able to shed some light on this. As, im sure, alot of you are aware there are different screens between the models. (Three i believe) In the VTR it has only one trip showing on the middle screen. It displays all the same things as the other sreens: Intsant MPG, Miles driving from last reset, average MPG, Average Speed....... It is also reset using the same way (holding down the button on the end of the stalk) There is also the trip used on the main display (the one with the speedo) on the left hand side by the fuel indicator, showing: Miles done since last reset, and miles till next refill. To reset this trip there is a large button displaying "Trip" just by the main display. Therefore i would asume you drive a model along the same spec lines as a VT/VTR : a LX/SX. OR.............. I could have got the wrong end of the stick! <_<
  17. Yeah, c4sportsclub for me too. (even though the 1.4 can hardly be called "Sporty"! <_< )
  18. Hi, welcome to "the club"! <_<
  19. I totally agree!
  20. couldnt choose, and didnt realise that if you "null vote" to look at the results then you cannot vote! Doesnt matter though.
  21. alot of people have been saying things like MPG and performace ect ect will get better when the engine is "run in". Obviously i am familiar with the "running in" process, but at what mileage will the "running in" period be finished?
  22. I agree about the spec! I think he wants a 5 door though, so it would be a "sx" as the one to go for?? Not too sure though. DONT GET THE BOTTOM SPEC!!!
  23. <_< what a load of ***oops***! I could understand if the main fault was with the engine, or electrics, but the mirror!! Surely they could have a look at the reverse warning display!
  24. I cant comment on the price as not too "in the Know" on deals that may be out there. Where have you heard these tales?? I happen to be "the one" that managed to get 26 odd MPG from the 1.4, but it is a one off for me. Havent heard any other similar stories though. It is going up though, nothing to worry about! I was getting 33-35 MPG no matter what driving conditions: Motorway, in town, country roads, ect, ect. I have heard of a C4 1.4 (5 Door) getting 40 MPG, the driver did say that he was a VERY economical driver though! Still have the same amount of looks/stares/points/compliments/ooooo's and aaaahhhhhh's ect ect!
  25. When the problem first occured, i also thought that the car was not getting enough gas, so when it happened, i fully released the clutch, and.... it was fine, no sign whatsoever of the car about to stall.
