It doesnt happen to me when coming to a stop in 5th (or any high gear). Only when I set off in 1st and the change to 2nd sometimes. I have found a way round it though.

Sounds like a LONG way from me! I go to a new school (Ardingly) in september so that time will probably be manic!

I couldnt agree more! Even though i have the standard system, an analagy of mine is: "If the mirrors are not shaking, the music is not loud enough!"

That is very interesting, my 1.4 VTR has a bad clutch judder! Obviously it is not a performance engine though! It was taken to a dealer, and the said that they could not replicate the problem! It does it with me driving, my mum, my dad, but not the tech! :D There is definetly a problem, i was driving a friend, we came to a roundabout, i pulled on, the clutch played up, i managed to cut someone up because i could not get the car to move properly! I have found that the problem can be kept at bay if; 1. You give the car very little revs and move off slowly. Not great for roundabouts! 2. You give the car high revs and feather the clutch out. Not good for "Stop Start" traffic! Really need to get this problem sorted! Could be very dangerous!

Yeah, there good, if they dont list CIS then you may want to try them, in my case there are the cheapest.

Off the top of my head it is 4, a quick look in the back of "Top Gear" shows that it is.......... 4. Best thing to do is to get a quote online, i got a quote from "Direct Line" for a C4 1.4 VT, but they would not insure a C4 1.4 VTR??!!?? Crazy, Same Engine, no performance mods, same insurance group!!!

Black absorbs heat, white reflects it! That is why darker cars get hotter.

Me too, but you cant be too picky! -
And you can also buy the exhaust trim, oh wait, come to think of it, it may be a model specific accessory!? But i do know that you can buy it.... if you want it. Not sure you can buy the 180bhp though  (unless you forget about the economy and get the petrol!) No matter which model you get, not sure you can go wrong with a C4! Try and find a better looking car for the money, you would have a hard time finding a better looking car even with much much more expensive cars!

I love putting the window up with the remote! Hehe  Everyone loves it!! -
I did only fill it up with £15 once a couple days ago. First time i have done that. I usually end up filling it up full. It is slowly going up though (a bit too slow for me though!)

When you say "heavy left foot" was that a mistake or you mean too much clutch??? At 30 im in 4th, at 40 im in 5th. I had a mate in the car all day today (just got back) Drove like an angel, and it is still at 28 MPG. Im not crazy on the roads, do like accelerating, and driving on country roads, but my driving has'nt changed in the last week, before i was getting 33MPG( At worst!). The only thing that has changed is me having the air con on a high setting, but my mind will refuse to belive that i could dent the MPG that much! My parents say that it could, but for some reason my head just cant get around it! Come to think about it there are alot of traffic works on a daily drive, and the lights are VERY long  Any way, WAY too late, well early!
-
AHHH... I do love country roads, and do drive the car how its ment to be driven (i.e Quite hard), and latley have had the Air Con on at 3 out of 4 and at the coldest setting, but 27.2!!!!! B) That is nearly as bad as my Dad's 3 litre Jag!! Could this dramatic loss of MPG be down to the Air Con :D ?? Thanks

Coupe, petrol. I have seen more hatches to be honest!

Oh good, i still would be worried about the noise, considering even the 1.4 is loud! My dad was waiting for me at a golf course the other day, and he was there when i turned up, unusual becauase he has no patience! I later found out that he heard me coming! I was behind someone the other day on a dual carriage way, and we were doing 65-70 and the noise was horrible! I could not live with that! Every time he slightly accelerated, i thought that some one was coming the other way! My mind would never accept the fact that the noise was coming from the car in front accelerating 2mph.

Ahh... very interesting!

17!

When you say: "Performance exhaust" , I hope you dont mean one of those exhausts that looks like a dustbin has been mis placed, and one that you can hear from Australia when the car is at idle!
-
Not in this area! Wish our house did! I live in the country, only supercar around here is a ferrari 360, and he won the lottery! Lucky ***oops***! <_< Astons are actually coming a regular occurance, C4 is still a rarity though, and i hope it stays that way!

What do you mean by "tricks"?

This is the only one i have, yet again it is abstract, but, hopefully, you will get the general idea! I am off to a school old pupils day so will try and take one later today. http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g262/Ciaran2903/c4.jpg
