  1. I do understand but if there was any hesitation in braking i wouldnt be here. i ended up nearly off the road, there was nowhere to go. My mother said i couldnt of done anything better. She was actually worried when we got back that if she was driving she might not have been able the react quick enough. The coach came very close to me as it was. But i do understand what your saying, because i have done that before, and not afraid to admit that, but in that situation that was all i could do.
  2. yeah i hope that is a "Once in a lifetime experience"!
  3. I PASSED!!!!!!!!! I got 3 minors. I am so happy!
  4. Sorry whilst i get my tounge back in my mouth! They are SH*T HOT!!!! WOW!!!
  5. I am still on "L" Plates so need an adult in the car with me, therefore i need to ask my mum or dad to go on a drive, purely for my pleasure. I was going on a drive (that i do very often) around uckfield. i got to a part that is extremly steep downhill. it is a 40mph limit and therefore i was going around 40mph. i went round a corner and there was a BUS (full of people) OVERTAKING UP A HUGE, STEEP and VERY WINDY HILL!!! I slammed on the brakes as hard as humanly possible and just narrowly missed the bus. I felt the ABS kick in as soon as a hit the brakes. I thank god that i drive a car with ABS and EBD! Otherwise i would have been killed (along with my mother)! I am not a wimp (i have represented this country at squash and the county os sussex and many other sports, so i am the complete opposite!), but i will admit that a minute after this happened the reality set in and i burst into tears becuase i was so nearly killed! It is still only minutes after the incident but it has not taken any of my love whatsoever from driving and still enjoy country roads as much as ever! On another note, my test is tomorrow so wish me luck! Ciaran, (P.S If you are reading this "Welshguy" i think the alloys look awesome from the blurry pic!l lol Would be great to see a in-focus pic)
  6. That look VERY cool!!!! Gimmi! :D
  7. I just phoned the crawley branch and they will do it!!! Thanks alot guys for the info and help. Thanks
  8. Cheers, i will ask the crawley guys, there are not to be recommended but maybe they can prove me wrong! Thanks again.
  9. I asked the guy at the parts dept.(Tundbridge Wells), he didnt have a clue so went and talked to the head tech, came back and said that it would cause more problems than good!! Should i go to another dealer?(Crawley) Help please! Thanks
  10. mine is the same to....
  11. yeah mine is stiff too, anyone driven the coupe and the hatchback? Any different? Purely wondering.
  12. Just wondering if the suspension on the c4 was the same across the range, or if the coupe and hatchback suspension was different to each other? Does the VTS have stiffer suspension? Just wondering cause i read a review about the c4 saying that the ride was "comfortably sprung". Every other review i have read said the suspension is hard. Maybe this was the first review on the hatchback i have read? Any thoughts? Thanks
  13. I was told by a Citroen technician that there was a problem with the cruise control software, it was no problem though, just a software patch, was in for a matter of hours. i do love the CC but there was a "moment" that we had when i had it a 30mph (in 4th) and came to a speed camera and it speed up to 32mph. i quickly hit the brakes although i knew that the CC would not go past that speed! Physcological thing!! Anyway i do use it very often and it very useful
  14. I think that the youngest insured and legal c4 driver may well be me!! See, the attraction to a c4 is from all ages and sexes, including babies, or maybe we are all young children at heart!! :D
  15. Or Both! :D
  16. There is a old guy with a 5-door about a mile down, and he NEVER drives the thing! It is always there.
  17. I parked next to another c4 a few months ago. Would post the pic, but dont know how! :D
  18. To be honest i use Kitchen paper towels! They work very well too! Gets all the much off, and there is no worry that the muck will just get moved because you can just use another piece!!
  19. That is the best looking car i have ever seen!!! (maybe i am being biased!)
  20. Not sure if you are still watching this subject, but you can access the car menu through the buttons for the radio on the VTR.
  21. See if you can sort it out with the citroen guys then you can enjoy the noise uninterrupted! It seems to me that the way to go is stand strong and stick up for yourself! Luckily the guys in T.Wells are very nice, saying that though my glovebox parts are still on back order! It is wired shut! Which means i cant take the dust from the dash (duster is in the glovebox, obviously!) and cant keep choccy and drinks cold, what a time!! It would have been fine in the winter! But the guys there are great! The technicians at crawley are great, but i cannot same the same about the people at the desk!
  22. How is that a problem? It is just the steering lock!
  23. i too am a fan of the noise, there is a nice (very small) tunnel (more of an overpass for trains) on the way to tunbridge wells nicely gaurded by a set of traffic lights, whenever i come across a red light, put down the window and give it some! It's no V6 or V8 ect ect but unique and nice.
  24. I also have the 1.4 engine and do feel the rocking at idle, also yesterday i did hear the engine about to stall at idle also, but my engine sounds very sweet, even when accelerating very hard. Sounds alot better than the dustbin sized exhausts you see every now and then! :P
  25. oh ok, in the insurance form cis ask the value of the car including accesories, so i am not sure if they want to know what they are if/when i get them, but to be safe i will ask them.
