  1. Hill starts are easy!!! What is the point it not using the handbrake, unless some people have no co-ordination........... me, suggesting anything?!? :P :P
  2. ;) Yeah, i have the seat at its lowest position aswell. Clutch is quite high i guess, but not a problem, and as wozza says, you hardly need to push it down.
  3. The steering wheel is adjustable, so there is no problem there. I know that there are tall people on this forum who are fine (did wozza say he was tall?!?)
  4. For one: The handbook should not be put in the glovebox! and for two: The glovebox is now not covered under the warranty!! To change the time, you need to access the menu (either through the headunit on some models (like my VTR), or through the steering wheel controls). On my VTR menu system the time is under "Display adjust" and then under "Hour".
  5. Doesn't Ham have a picture of his black VTS with mud flaps? Keep on meaning to get some!! One thing I dont think many people have (other than me, and maybe it is standard on higher spec than a VTR) are the door sill protectors. I just got some and they are really classy! I will try and get a pic up soon.
  6. Or, as my dad says: "subtle as a poke in the arse with a barge pole!" <_< :D :P :D
  7. Yeah, in the morning on the way to school there is always "hill fog/mist" (as some people informed me it was called <_< its fog in my books! :D ) everytime i go through it i think, ah ha, this is what my fog lights are for! And everytime they make the slightest bit of difference, pointless! R.E The pic: I got the flare naturally using a small aperture (around f.22 i think). I had the camera in "manual" and set the desired aperture, then set the shutter speed so that the camera said the exposure was correct, then took a test pic, then played around from there using different shutter speeds. I ended up using a bit of flash for that last one aswell to balance the photo.
  8. ahhhh.................i forgot to clean them last time!! <_< See, you get really lazy when you go through car washes! :D
  9. I am thinkng about buying new ones, cause my ones at the moment are rubbish! <_<
  10. Yep: http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g262/Ciaran2903/MyCar1.jpg As i have said before, i dont use my fogs, this was a photographic exersice!
  11. If you are looking for something stupidly crazy, then why not think about a Radical? <_< I mean, you wont be able to even think about getting over speed bumps........
  12. That is, if the Ariel Atom was still on the ground!! <_<
  13. Guess you dont need any more "salesmanship", but if you do.....have a look at the "C4 porn" thread! <_<
  14. Black is the way to go! http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g262/Ciaran2903/MynewC4.jpg Look at that without drooling! :D <_<
  15. Not the best way to get a new car! :D But i hope you enjoy it all the same!
  16. I dont feel sorry for the fox!!! They are that bastards that come in and eat are ducks!! :D  :(
  17. My aircon is fine. I also agree that it is a great car!! :D
  18. There is one that smells like toilet cleaner, but there are also some really nice ones too!!!
  19. Well i seem to one of the few that actually does use my air fresheners! :D If you've got it, flaunt it!
  20. To test if there are sensors in the front seat: Have someone already in the passenger seat before the car is started, get in yourself (obviously to the drivers seat :D ) and turn on the car and drive off. I would put money on the fact that there are no sensors in the seats. Surely KFK would know?!!?
  21. That is one thing i forgot to mention, but it only seems to happen on mine when i am going up hill, not normally
  22. I think i have also done the car injustice, becuase reading over my post, i never mentioned the fact that i do think that it is quite nippy. But as i mentioned this is the only car i have driven on the roads long term Guess the answer is to have a test drive and see how it goes!
  23. I certainly do have the 1.4 and it does struggle when fully loaded with people, but still keeps up with traffic, just need to adjust your driving, i.e lower gears. I drove a 1.6 ford focus (not the brand new one) today on my driving course, and it felt poor to be honest, that may be down to the fact that the car had four people in it, but it was not very good! :) I am not sure you can really take my opinion on this as "set in stone" because this is the only car i have driven long term. One thing to add is that it will happily cruise at 90 (almost too happily as i found out when i went past a speed check, looked at the speedo and saw 95!! ;) ) It has never got to the point when i feel i am holding up traffic when the car is fully loaded, just dont expect to have a car full of people who want to go blisteringly quick, becuase it wont happen fully loaded! :o
  24. Basically what it does is: 1) When someone puts there seat belt on the car "knows" that there is someone in that seat. If, then, that person takes there seatbelt off, then the warning comes on. 2)I do not believe that there are any sensors in the seats because you can quite happily have people in the back without there seatbelts on (at the beginning on the journey) and there will be no warning. (I also hate it when people dont wear their belts, the only reason i know how the system works is because some of my mates were impressed by the cars "knowledge" and tried to suss it out! :) )
  25. Which dirty boy would metion nipples?!? :o :) ;)
