Providing both reg plates are hung on by the same method (screwed or stuck on), what about swapping them? Just take the tools work to do it and swap them over whenever you get the chance to do it un-noticed................?

Would be worth a few quid to invest in a wheel clamp to wrap around their tyres. And personally i'd have the cheek to use the clamps as a wind up then when the jokes over take them back for a refund........... IF you did this, use some fake parking tickets but put anumber on for them to call, ideally the flirt dirt number on radio 1. Will also give the rest of us a laugh listening on the radio

I had a Peugeot once and that just kept cutting out. Everything went dead, radio, dash, no warning or anything.......... got told it was the ECU (engine management) and would be expensive to replace. Hopefully it isnt the case but if so, im sure a warrenty would cover it

Is your car amazingly quick at drying?!?! Couple of presses of enter and its dry as a bone...............

I dont know if im missing something, but i can get my front wiper to do just one wipe of the windscreen....... I thought pushing the wiper stalk down would just wipe once, but it doesnt and wipes about every 5 seconds for some time. Whats faulty, the car or me?!

Cheer's captain!!!! And mikey, the comment "This thread might be of some use to you." you didnt put a thread?!?!

This goes back to some time ago but im sure thats irrelevant! I bought an FM modulator to run my ipod into the back of my stereo, waste of £40, the thing is cr@p. So, i've got my money back and got the lead 9706.AG I havent fitted this yet but if the back of the headunit is looked at (original one), the aerial input is on the left and the speaker/power inputs are to the right. All i want to check is that the stereo has two aux inputs, but how will i know which one i connect the 9706.AG to, to tell the dealer which aux input to enable? Does that make sense? I just want to know which one im connecting it to, to ensure i ask the dealer to enable the right thing incase they're having 'an off day'. Not essential but is there only the aux ports that are disabled, and if not what else is in the software but disabled until required?

MY time at uni taught me to make one project i'll never forget..... A STUN GUN!!!! a doddle of a circuit to make, knock it up on a piece of vero board using about £5 worth of parts and, although low current so no real damage can be done, a shock in the region of 20,000V will give somebody the hint. Can run that of a normal car battery, regulate it, the using a transformer get to the required voltage. Circuit like this is all over the internet and id imagine if you could understand the car's wiring system, get it to activate the device (connected to your badge, bodywork etc) when you use the key for to lock! Otherwise couldnt eprox resin (or however its spelt) be used to stick it back on, no fcuker would get that off then!

Is the shadow on the side of the car one of you taking the picture, or are tree monsters common in your neck of the woods. The shadow looks a bit freaky! Can't argue with french cars tho, don't think i'd ever deal with anything but french unless the 6 numbers came up on a saturday night and I could purchase a BMW M6. However I reckon id buy a Citroen C6 as well, just to see whats its like.......looks a fab car!!

Arent you meant to put them in a bucket of sand, as the watter would steam? Is watter different to water? :P

Am i missing something here? I thought a wiper blade was a wiper blade without any variant???? Obviously not, so whats the difference between the C4 blades and normal blades? Also, are there any products that can be applied to your windows to get longer life out the wipers? What about that stuff that you can put on, its like a waxy thing and the water just runs off it with ease, would using that help a lot? £50 for wipers, thats more than a full tank of fuel..... bugger me!

Wouldnt the insurance cover this? If not, ive found the website www.partspool.com can be quiet good help getting the parts, but in using the website i'd advise you get the part numbers of the parts you need first. I feel sorry for the fox, unless you mean one of the VW golfs then im sure we're glad its one less of them to worry about....

I have bluetooth car kit in mine, the Parrot VH3000 and this doesnt use one of the AUX input's It connected into the back of the headunit but I had to buy a seperate wiring adapter to convert from the style of connection on the back of the stereo (the factory fitted one) into the ISO cables. Cost £20 of eBay Don't know of any bluetooth options using the AUX, would be interesting if there was....

Shop around, the market is so competitive you'll get a great deal. Its open to opinion (obviously) but id say best value is the 3 network but the general vibe is the reception is poor. A lot of contracts now are based on 18 month deals. The internet will offer a lot better deals than the high street stores, because the middle man gets cut out. Look for 3G on the phone you get, and if i was to recomend a network provider, Vodafone would be the one. Id say they dont offer the best deal out there to new customers (existing ones get great deals) but the service they provide, and the after service from the staff is great, very very helpful Plus, the joys of Vodafone live...................!

Does it leave a mark on the car when the badges are taken off? Because im a tramp and couldnt afford the VST (or VTR) i had to go for the Cool, but dont like the badge on the back of the car. How do theives of these badges get them off as well, not that im on the rob, i honestly want to take the 'Cool' badge of mine!

am i on my own, not adhearing to a lot of things taught by your driving instruction?! Plus I dont drive with my thumbs floating around, I use them to grip the steering wheel so no matter where your hands grip, it isnt possible to alter the stereo controls.

Might seem daft, but how do they know which cars to recall with specific faults, and not to recall C4's for all the same things?!
-
Sounds some bad news that with the car, a trip to the service dept. of your Citroen dealer is recommended. Don't know if all Citroen dealers work with the same policy, but with mine I had one of them hoax problems: a problem for me but disappears when the dealer had a look! Was with the gear box This problem was on a C2 I had. I explained to my dealer that the problem was occuring, so it was them that recommended they have the car for a few days. THe service guys took my car and one of the mechanics drove it (for personal use as well, more miles he did more he got a feel for it) and was able to see what problems I was having. Some people maybe a bit :( about passing on your car for 3-5 days, but it helped me no end and at least its in safe hands. And, I got a courtesy car which meant it wasnt an inconvenience.

If you dont need the parking sensors, send them to me! The missus wants to drive it but i said i'd have to have rear AND front parking sensors fitted first!!!! Suppose I can understand her view, M reg Corsa ....... Citroen C4? :(

Still impossible to say anything good about a Nissan, let alone the Micra!

Reply seems late but here goes: I once had a C2, SX and i had a speed limiter button to the right of the stereo and it took me weeks to figure it out. Pressing the buttong will turn it on with a light on the button to indicate this, and pressing again will turn it off, fair enough! If you hold the button down for a period of a few seconds, a noise sounds (like a plingy noise). This means you have set the speed limiter to the speed that you was doing at the time you was holding the button, and whenever the limiter is on, going over the set speed will sound a warning. The warning sounds in three beeps, and will sound every time you go over the limit. Once it has sounded, it shouldnt keep sounding when your over the set limit. To be honest, a pointless feature in many cars but its there as standard so take it

I've had my C4 in the garage for 4 weeks, not driven but the other day it came out, and the alloys where all dirty. How does that work?
-
Would i be right in thinking that fitting the lead would be purely a case of, on end straight into the stereo, the other one routed to where the ipod is going to be connected? If so, can see myself fitting the lead myself, being possible because i have hands!
-
Think id prefer to buy the cable and run it through the stereo rather than buy the harman kardon. I aint a fan myself of adding extra things to the dashboard, like the screen of this, or un-necessary buttons. I like a nice, clean, prestince C4 dashboard!

In using the 9706AG lead, I take it being the Citroen part number, would it be Plug and Play or is a degree of software changing required on the computer i.e. to enable it. Maybe i should not i dont have any rear/forward parking sensors, or a disc changer so all connections in the back of my head unit, bar power and speakers, are free.
