They are bad drivers cause they drive on the wrong side of the road!

Taking a mattress to the tip yesterday, unfortunately the C3 is a little bit too short to fit one in.. so tied the boot down.. Had to drive the whole way with the interior light flashing at me. Is there anyway to deactivate this? do the French never drive with their boots open?? The moduboard has come in very handy since it appeared in my boot during the service ;)

Hi I got my C3 in Farnborough too from WestHeath. You might see me around, it's the only one they've sold with a sunroof. Kelby

compared to the Renault (Rubbish) Megane I used to have, the horn on the C3 is far from weedy. The megane sounded like a French girl farting. K

It's being checked at the dealers next thursday. Also, my front wheels squeek. like the sound when the brakes squeek. happens at low speeds but not all the time, and more often when its hot. and also more pronounced when i steer to the right. Panic

Found a hidden gadget this morning.. on trying to ram an extra cd into my glovebox, i noticed that something was in the way. Hidden at the top is a circular vent, by twisting it, it routes the cold air from the aircon into the glovebox. I know these exist but I thought it was just on the exclusive and auto models, not the 1.4 petrol sx. so now I just have to find where they've hidden the rain sensitive wipers, auto headlights, fold down trays and the leather trim on the seats and I'll almost have an exclusive lol Now done 1800 miles and is booked in for the 1st service tomorrow. I work for nokia so im getting it fitted for work purposes, I read somewhere that they cost around £250 maybe some for fitting. they have to be professionaly fitted. You also need a compatible handset. As far as I know, only nokia make blue tooth car kits, however they are compatible with blue tooth phones made by other people like motorola, ericsson, siemens etc.. and as for the name, not sure at all. kelby

Bluetooth is a wireless protocol that allows devices such as computers/phones/pda etc to communicate with each other. In this case the phone can remain in my pocket or bag or laptop case etc, it communicates through radio signals with the car kit. all that is visible of the car kit is a 'nokia' button, this will answer calls, allow voice dialing and alter the volume control. as i switch on the ignition, the car kit will sense my phone. The hands free also mutes the stereo during a call. Kelby

By early next week, I should have had my Nokia blue tooth car kit fitted. Anyone know of any issues with getting this done? Does the CD stereo in the C3 offer automute functions? and if it does automute will it lose kiss100 and give me radio 2? Its actually being fitted at Nokia Offices, so no worries about Citroen Dealers not knowing what they are doing lol. Kelby

On my c3 sx 1.4 petrol with sunroof and window airbags, my rear wiper comes on if i have the front wipers on and i put the car in reverse. the automatic rain sensor is only on autos and exclusives. Kelby

So is the moduboard worth it?

Gadgets Automatic volume, I also dont notice any noticeable difference, but handily the girlfriend usually takes care of turning that up for me lol Temperature sensor, this isn't active on mine, but it would be cool if it did work.. Having a nokia bluetooth handsfree kit fitted this week so lets see what that fuxors up :s (not by a citroen dealer, I work at Nokia and they are fitting it.) K

My SX manual doesn't show this, maybe it's a feature of the Exclusive/Automatic in the UK

I tried the thing to get the outside temperature... How? doesnt do anything when i press the right hand button next to the clock K

My sunroof hasnt leaked yet... but then again it hasnt rained either, I will let you know if I end up owning a mobile paddling pool. hey maybe the aircon would still work. It would be like having a jacuzzi... :) Kelby

Dakiwi, is yours petrol or HDi? It seems the HDi owners are always complaining about something :) lol

I have just bought a C3 SX and am curious about the spec. My car has illuminated vanity mirrors on both sides of the car, I thought only the Exclusive had these. Also Which side is everyones under seat tray on? mine is under the drivers seat, which is okay if you look at the April spec sheet. The pre April brochure says it should be under the passenger seat and you get an extra under the drivers in the Exclusive. My car should be pre-April spec.. But has having the sunroof changed the spec??

According to the April 2003 spec sheet, all SX and exclusives now come with Moduboard. Not enough to pursuade my dealer, because I ordered mine back in March. :) Kelby

Got my C3 SX last Friday, took it to Portsmouth (from farnborough) so managed to clock up over 100 miles. runs very smoothly, nippy at traffic lights, all round very impressive.

A haynes manual would be really useful, not to fix the car, but to understand how it works.
