Hi, What do you use the rear locker for?....Ours has road maps, travel/picnic rug and warning triangle in. Also I find it useful for putting the wash bags and a towel in, when fully loaded up with luggage, on holiday....Means we can "freshen up" without disturbing the boot and cases etc! Cheerz. :)
-
Hi, The allen key Torq thingy in the rear compartment, for undoing the roof rails also fits some of the bolts in the modutop! Cheerz. :) p.s. The dirty fingermarks come as standard from the factory....along with a coating of grey dust!
-
Bring back BILLY GIBBONS!!!!! :o :D  :)

Hi, I expect most were vans, which were probably stolen for their contents, rather than the vehicle itself....Hence why the majority were recovered!?? Ford Focus's in ASBO Orange might get stolen for their "street cred"...But a Multispace in beige or olive green???? :P Cheerz. :D
-
Hi, To wash the roof I just open the sliding doors and stand on the sill, whilst hanging on to the roof rails!
-
Hi, Not had any problems with the height, although the Desire model is a little higher with the roof rails and actually comes into the next height category on the cross Channel ferries!...I just quote the lower official figure, which must be based on the Forte model. Of course, once loaded up with passengers, fuel and luggage, the car sinks down quite a bit....The aerial does catch on Max Headroom signs sometimes! We narrowed colour choice down to Poseidon blue or Arctic silver colours, but decided on the silver, as it suits the car and I prefer the blue interior too! Cheerz. p.s.The med. blue colour has grown on me since, but I think that I would go for the Iron Grey next time!

Hi, Well the part arrived today! I had to resort to my trusty bearing puller to remove the old wiper arm, as it was stuck fast on it's spline! The replacement arm only cost £7.67 including vat, so at least it wasn't an expensive job! Cheerz.
-
Hi, Went to replace the rear wiper today, having just changed the front ones and managed to break the securing clip from the wiper arm! On closer inspection, the whole wiper arm is made of brittle plastic and is a one piece moulding, including the securing clip!.....I've therefore had to order a replacement arm! Parts man said... "They don't usually break that easily!" What would normally be a straightforward job has turned into a real pain! Cheerz.
-
Hi, Shouldn't skid under braking more than any other car of it's type....You obviously haven't got abs, so the culprit will be either worn tyres and/or cheap budget tyres which have little grip in cold wet and icy conditions. Worth checking if the front tyres are over inflated too. The original tyres on my '04 Berlingo are starting to wear quite a bit and the grip on acceleration and cornering is much worse than last winter. Cheerz.
-
Hi, Must be the weather!...Mine has started clunking again in the past week, but hasn't for the rest of the year! :o Cheerz. :D
-
Hi, Looks like a Ren@ult KANGOO! :D :o Cheerz. :D
-
Hi, Here's the full data for the latest airbag equipped model...... Berlingo data Cheerz. :D
-
Hi, That's the good thing when they do the VAT back deal, as you get the equivalent vat value off any extras you order too! When I ordered my '04 Blingo they said it had to be delivered by the offer closing date, but this hurdle disappeared when they placed my factory order and the dealer said the date didn't matter after all! Cheerz. :D p.s. I think aircon is a must on these cars in the summer!
-
Hi, I just tried all the places you mentioned and it accepted all of them! You need to click on "not in the US" and enter the town name rather than the postcode as the "zipcodes" only work in the US. We've used this map site on another forum to very good effect. Cheerz.
-
Hi, What's the key-switch?....I found some information for the Picasso, but don't know if the Blingo is the same?.... "with the ignition off press and hold down the reset button on the left hand side of your temp guage with the 0000's in it, whilst holding, turn on ignition (without starting) and wait until the timer counts down from 10 to 0 and the spanner symbol will go out". Cheerz.
-
Hi, If I get my car serviced at an independent garage, will they be able to reset the service indicator which counts down to when your service is due and includes the little spanner? Or is it possible to reset it myself? Cheerz.

Hi, My windscreen picked up a stone chip the other day, which has left a small crack in the glass on the driver's side. I went to the local Autowindscreen place to see if they can repair it.They said it can be repaired, but as I have aircon and the heat reflective windscreen, the repair resin may leave a white spot instead of the crack! Apparantly this happens with this type of windscreen...so I may have to go for a replacement screen! Has anyone had their heat reflective screen successfully stonechip repaired? Cheerz. :D

Hi, My local dealer wants £202.60 inc.vat for the 25k service....They also suggested a brake fluid change costing £28 and an aircon "service" at about £96! :o Think I will try a local independent Peugeot/Citroen servicing establishment for a quote too! Cheerz. :D
-
Hi, The 25K mile service is due on my B'lingo in a few weeks time....What can I expect to pay for this service? Cheerz.

Hi, Budget brands are ok until the weather gets colder, when their harder compounds often lack grip! Plus they can tend to be noisier at speed, from my experience. A cold wet winter roundabout tends to show you why some of the premium brands are worth the extra wonga! :D The best tyres I've ever used were Bridgestone SO2's on my 300ZX Turbo!...Their wet and dry grip were amazing!....But they did wear out relatively rapidly! Obviously the Berlingo isn't a high hp performance car,so ultimate grip isn't so important. On a daily driver, I like a nice balance of grip, feel, wear and low noise levels! Cheerz.

Hi, Welcome to the forum and 1.6 Desire ownership!...A great choice! :( With the ever increasing price of diesel due to tax, unless you're doing mega miles it isn't worth the extra outlay in my opinion! The 1.6 16v petrol is generally a nice refined unit and mine has loosened up considerably over the last few thousand miles. Have you ordered any extras?...We went for the aircon and have been glad of it over the last couple of months! This forum was quite busy last year, but because of it's disappearance for a few months a couple of times, it's become like a ghost town! Cheerz.
-
Hi, No haven't seen them before!...Looks like the one in the photo is intended for the 2 seater van version though! I made the mistake of cleaning my boot mat with a dashboard cleaner cloth wipe!...Everything just slides around now! Cheerz.
-
Hi, My car has just done 20k miles...it's 16 months old now. I think it was just a one off problem...I did give it some welly, fully laden up some twisty hills in France though and it seemed to start getting noisier after this! Luckily it was covered under the warranty, so no bill to pay! The engine always sounds smooth when driving, but at idle it sounds a bit rattlely! I've been told it's the injectors, rather than anything mechanical? Cheerz
-
Hi, Took the car into the dealer the other day, as since we've come back from France the exhaust has been blowing in the engine bay....Sounded more like a diesel than ever! :( Turned out to need a new manifold gasket....just sounds like a tin of nails now instead of a taxi! :D Cheerz.
