Hi, Phoned up to find out how much it would cost to renew the Citroen Assist cover, as we're heading off to France next week and my normal RAC cover doesn't cover Europe. I'd heard that renewal cost was expensive, but turns out that due to a clerical error, we've got two years cover instead of the usual 12 months! Apparently the van version of the Blingo gets 2 years cover and they thought our multispace was a van! :D They've just confirmed the extra 12 months cover in writing! Cheerz.

Hi, The rattle in this area usually stems from the sunvisors themselves! On my car I have a scrunched up paper tissue, pushed partially into the slot above each visor to act as a damper! Never get any vibrations now!.....Apart from the rear overhead lockers in cold weather, which require a sharp tap with the hand to quieten down! Cheerz.
-
Hi, Saw my first Iron Grey Blingo today!....good choice, nice colour, might have gone for this shade if it had been available at the time I bought mine! Cheerz. :)
-
Hi, Stephen how could you switch to the other side??....only joking, the Hdi looks a good bet, if you're doing a high mileage, but the cost of diesel now makes the break even point even higher! Cheerz. :)

Hi, My suspension doesn't seem to clunk as much lately....But the engine does sound like a tin of nails at idle! :D Cheerz. :)
-
Hi, Diesel fuel seems to be getting more expensive round here!...Glad I chose petrol now!...Don't forget that the HDi has a larger tank than the petrol model too! Cheerz. :)

Hi, I've been thinking of changing my speakers.....what model are the Pioneer speakers and are they an easy fit?....I don't want to have to start hacking wires or bodywork around! Cheerz. :)

Hi, My Blingo's coming up to it's first main service at 12,000 miles soon, I'm currently on about 10k miles! How much can I expect to pay for this service? Cheerz.
-
Hi, I see that on the new C4 there will be a feature whereby the steering wheel hub is fixed and just the outer rim rotates!...Leaving audio, ventilation controls etc, fixed in the centre. Do you think this feature will appear on the next Berlingo?....and will it prove as popular as the 'Quartic' wheel on the 1970's Austin Allegro! :D :D Cheerz.

Hi, I must visit the Dealers and ask for some spares! Cheerz. B)

Hi, Has anyone tried trading their Berlingo in at 12 months old?....What sort of trade in price could be expected? I'm a bit annoyed that abs and passenger airbag are now standard fit, when the dealer forgot to add them to my original order when they were only available as extras extras! Cheerz. B)

Hi, I thought about some aftermarket wheel trims, but in the end decided that 'cos the Blingo is only 6 months old, I wanted to keep the original look. In my opinion, the wheel trims look more like alloy wheels than the fussy looking alloy option! Cheerz. B)

Hi, I was overtaken by a Sahara Beige Desire HDi on the M40 yesterday and in the mirror it looked like his undertray was hanging down under the car! We were later side by side at some traffic lights and he tried to "race" me up the dual carriageway......Unfortunately my 1.6 petrol was too brisk for him, from a standing start! Cheerz,
-
Hi, I know what you mean.My other car, a Nissan has an undertray and the bolts are long ago corroded into place, but luckily there's a hole for the sump plug and another to access the radiator drain plug.....Makes life much easier! Cheerz. :D

Hi, We have the newer type, felt covered load cover and find it quite practical and also easy to remove if required.I've never been a fan of roller blind type covers! Cheerz. :D

Hi, I was going to change the door speakers on my car, as the sound quality is very tinny!....But six months on, I still haven't got round to it! :D With regard to Citroen service departments...My car developed a running fault, whereby it would speed up and slow down of it's own accord, on the motorway and seemed very hesitant. The dealer said that because the fault occured above 70mph they couldn't help, because it is above the national speed limit!! :o Anyway, they did give it a test run and couldn't find anything wrong!....and ran lots of tests!?....In the end I had to look under the bonnet myself and found that an electrical connector was loose!...I pressed it back together and since then there's been no re-occurence of the problem! I didn't buy a new car to have to fix it myself!...I've spent too many years doing that on old cars! :o Cheerz.
