  1. Hi, Checked with the local Citroen dealer's service dept, and they reckon it's 10w-40 semi synthetic. Cheerz.
  2. Hi, I don't know how much you'd need, but I do see a few Blingos around here with blacked out windows....Particularly Mk1 versions. To get a good finish it would probably be better to have it proffesionally fitted. Cheerz.
  3. Hi, My car has 12500 mile service intervals, I believe. Cheerz.
  4. Hi, Which grade of engine oil should I use in our 1.6 petrol engine?....The handbook doesn't seem to tell me and the oil needs a slight top- up after 8000 miles. Cheerz.
  5. Hi, I bought our 1.6 Desire from MURLEY CITROEN in Leamington Spa, as they gave the best all round deal....Having tried lots of others! We narrowed the choice down between Poseidon Blue and Arctic Silver...but plumped for the silver, because I preferred the blue interior as opposed to the grey in the blue car.My Father in-law has since bought a blue one from the same dealer! Murley seemed interested in selling the car...unlike some dealers! Cheerz.
  6. Hi, I've just had to buy two new wheel trims to replace 2 damaged when my wife hit the kerb the other day! :( Total cost from Citroen £29.94 inc. vat for the 2.Suppose it could have been worse, at least I didn't specify the alloy wheels! I'm keeping the damaged ones to put on the car every thursday, when my wife has the car for the day! Cheerz.
  7. Hi, YES!...Sounds like the, key still in the ignition, warning! Cheerz.

  19. Just post three words to create the Berlingo story!! I will start.... The Berlingo is....
  20. Hi, I see from watching 'Top Gear' the other week, that the new Peugeot equivalent of the Citroen C2 will have sliding doors, which are automatically operated from the key fob! Now that would be cool on our Berlingos....perhaps the next model?!! Cheerz. :(
  21. Hi, Have others also found that in wet, warm weather such as today's, the windows can steam up quite quickly and sporadically, for no apparent reason? A quick blast from the refridgerated air, clears the windows in seconds, however! Cheerz. :(
  22. Hi, The air con is invaluable as it comes with the heat reflective windscreen as well! Having been in the in-laws Blingo without it, I must say it can get very hot with all that glass! Cheerz. :(
  23. Hi, We have clocked up about 6K miles so far and have just spent a week avoiding ponies and 4X4 soft roaders in the New Forest! :( The Berlingo's ground clearance certainly helps when faced with a herd of cattle and ponies on one side of the road and a 4x4 which doesn't want to dirty it's wheels on the other! We now have another Berlingo in the family, as the father in-law has just succumbed and now has an '04 1.6 Desire in Poseidon blue. Who wants a 4 door euro-saloon?? Cheerz.
  24. Hi, Since the forum has been down, my car has experienced some problems. The first was that the headlight main beam stalk stopped working...this resulted in a trip to the dealer for a new "Comms 2000" unit to be fitted! Whilst there, I asked them to check for a problem, which involved the car surging and slowing down on the motorway, of it's own accord! This fault started as an intermittent problem, which got steadily worse! Needless to say they gave the Berlingo a clean bill of health and couldn't diagnose the fault! I subsequently found a loose connector block on top of the engine, which once pressed back together...solved the problem!! Next time I visit the garage, will be to see what's causing the suspension clunk when the car is driven whilst wet! Cheerz. B)
  25. Hi, I get this problem when it has been raining or the car is wet!....but it's generally ok when dry! Cheerz.
