Thanks Robin, I have a brother-in-law who is a mechanic so can get him to change them, have found a online shop on this website that only charge £19.50 per sphere. Had tried another xantia before this one and have got to say that the ride was superb!! However it got sold to someone else and they only had it a week and blew the head gasket! ust a thought how much does your tame engineer in Carlisle charge? I ask this because I live just down the coast near Barrow in Furness, so Carlisle is only about an hours drive away.

Hi, I want to know how I can tell which sphere/s need replacing on my M reg Xantia. Is there any way of telling? The car rises OK, but ride seems bouncy but not overly so, it is hard to tell if it either the front or rear that bounces most. When stationary and engine idiling the rear end seems quite solid, so I suspect that it is the rear ones that require changing. Any help is much appreciated.
