Hi and welcome to the forum Mark. ive had the first one on very odd occasions, and the head lamp washers do tend to spray alot when stationary in traffic but never all over the windscreen too. are you sure its not the ones on the bonet spraying on your windscreen? Theres a few of us on here that have had problems with the head lamp washers, theres a small bung underneath the assembly which pops out/or a pipe comes off. My car goes back to dealer to have two new washer arms put on, not too sure if they are an updated part because of this problem? :D any way welcome again Mark
if anything itll be less aceleration due to damp conditions, and "more power". The cooler damper air wont be a significant increase, especially on a 1.4, and you'd possibly notice it only on equipment,
shouldnt reduce you acceleration as the 17"with tyre are the same diameter as the 16"with tyre you had on before Stu, and also they're same width as old 16" alloys. Its most likely to be the colder damp weather we are having now.
theres a few people on the xsara forums that have had it done, with good gains in power and torque. turbo diesels and petrol turbos do get good gainsaround 30%, as apposed to injected normal apirated Non turbo cars which normally get aroun 10% increase in bhp http://www.xsarasportsclub.com/forum/porta...33ab0a8156abab7
yes no problem stu, it just feels a better to use than megs nxt :P , but it may be to preference. You can try both if you want. its like putting shoe polish on, but also easy to buff off(dont use a brush though :D )
