hi all was just wondering how easy a job it is to change rear spheres on 03 c5 estate the car has done 130000 miles and have noticed it getting abit hard and can feel it skip alittle if it hits a bump on a corner.

just to add to the thread i have had 4 c5,s all hdi,s and every one of them had some sort of whine from the box and have driven loads more c5,s with the same whine the only c5 i have ever driven with no whine was the auto.

Av had this happen on 2 c5,s the engine cover mounts broke causing the oil cap to come loose and come off spraying oil everywhere.

hi i have been have a problem with the wipers on my c5 they wont stop wiping when on auto so disconnected the sensor and the wipers now wipe intermitenly,cheap fix

you can get repair pipes from the cat back am sure its listed in a bosal exhaust book.

first off when you wash the front screen and water comes out the back its the valve on the washer pump thats sticking it very to easy repair,the second am sure al c5 estates have this delay ov the rear wiper run afew c5 now and all had this problem,i would,nt worry overly about it get your self a new washer pump they dont cost much.

the air con might need recharging if you go under the bonnet and feel the air con pipes one should be hot the other pipe shopuld be freezing.

the bumpers on c5s come off easy you have to pull the trim in them off,the air con does,nt work if its to cold outside.your brakes sound like they just need cleaned and some copper grease on the back off the pads.

my 03 plate hdi estate has just started doing this does,nt bother me to much as it pumps back up after you open the car mine go,s down after about 3-4hours but no fluid loss one thing i did wonder could it not be the anti sink valve or would the front and back sink if this was faulty

hi i have had 2 c5 2.0hdi estates leak lds from the front offside pipe that sits behind the front bumper where the pipe go,s from rubber to metal both times it was the hose clamp that was causing the leak cure was put new hose clamp on .
