  1. Check the wiring where it goes from the roof into the tailgate you will probably find some broken wires
  2. Sounds like the fuel filter is faulty or not sealing properly
  3. Sounds like starter motor or a bad connection on solenoid
  4. Thanks for the advice will be doing this over easter weekend along with the cambelt and water pump change that's due
  5. Has anyone changed the strut return pipes on the front of a mk1 c5 had a quick look and looks like just unclip pipe and fit new and check and top up fluid many thanks Mark
  6. My blower resistor is on the passenger side of the heater box and is just clipped into the housing

  10. My mk1 c5 hdi had tyre wear when I was using cheap tyres but I am now using michelin and have increased the tyre pressure to the same as the rear 2.5 bar and no more wear problems

  16. I had this problem with my c5 it turned out to be a fault with the gear lever unit
  17. If it's a ford engine have the injectors been programmed correctly i know mondeos suffer with this problem
  18. The holes are all there when I did my 2002 estate all i had to remove was the undershield from the rear bumper I got my towbar from toys for cars very good quality and good price and delivery
  19. Sounds like a fuel problem as it runs on easy start is there a blocked fuel pipe or air leak on the fuel system
  20. Get the battery tested it may have a weak cell
  21. Did the mechanic clean the hubs before fitting the new discs
  22. Test the crankshaft sensor if that stops working it stops the spark

  24. Connect an oil pressure gauge where the oil pressure switch goes on the filter housing
