well thats told you Rich! :) one of the incidents that safety engineer mentioned pretty muched summed up my smash, someone trying to overake me, cut in to early and forced me off the road.

I do intend n keeping my car for another year to 18 months. I am not going to sell it until I have paid the loan off I bought it with. Ham, thinking about it I do have to give it more guns to get it up to speed quickly. It is being fixed now and should be back for the end of the month. Its first service is due in about 6 months, hardly seems worth doing it now. As for the enviroment, sod it. A bit controversial but I am only here for so long and I want to enjoy my time. The only really bad thing I do is drive and I enjoy it, so im not going to stop. If public transport wasnt more expensive than driving, went anywhere near I need to go and you can find a seat I may consider it but until that day the car is staying. A bit off topic but thats what happens if you try and be an enviro-mentalist around me :)

when the motor finds its way home in a couple of weeks I might have a go at changing the oil and filter. Or maybe I could offer Ham a cup of tea and a choccy biscuit and he will come and do it for me wink wink nudge nudge Ham :blink: I make very good tea!

on the sunroof thing...There is a glass roof option that cost about £1500 that goes 3 quarters the way down the top of the car. The £400-£500 option is the normal tilt and slide one. I dont think anyone on here has it.

nobody has mentioned the reflecting lights thing, only badly set up lights should shine that high anyway...as for the boot thing...yes everyone does slam my boot and it does bug me like mad as i you slam it too much then the the paint can get damaged as the stops arent very good...

is it worth changing the oil and filter regulally then do you think?? my car has done just over 10K but it is only a 1.4 so isnt under as much pressure as the 180 VTS's??

it is meant to be a very good car, better than the Cupra according to Evo and those guys dont get it wrong to often. my C4 replacement in about 18 months...it will have to have the bodykit and the 18's though.

I was just thinking the same thing Ham, how comes you have to have washes with HiD bulbs??

no, its a good idea to keep it on as it will keep the AC systems lubricated and stop bad smells.

yeah the Navidrive is very nice

they are replacing the wheels, they found some cracks in them when they cleaned them off. I checked that they would be the 17's and they said yes.

my car is being fixed!!!! should be home for the end of the month! I spoke to the garage this morning, they had the OK yesterday afternoon and they have taken off the front bumper, wing, door, whole side panel and they are taking the interior out today. All the parts are available apart from the side panel which is being bought in from Portugal hence the delay in getting it back. They are also putting 4 new wheels and tyres on it! They are taking some pictures for me with the side off. I will post em when I get them.

C4's dont have space saver wheels...mines got a normal steel wheel. I think you'll find my car has 17's now. If we are talking about the engine, then yes there is loads of space in there, if the boot gets full of shopping you could stick it in the engine bay. Even the VTS doesnt fill the space...3.0 V6 from the Pug should fit in there nicely.

I got far to creative when I was doing it. I have been doing some very heavy photoshop work recently so I cant just drop some wheels on the roof! I will do a simply one later.
