  1. Errr NO! That didn't work. Before I had even got into 6th gear on the motorway I'm back in limp mode. That's me stumped, does anyone have any more suggestions,
  2. Just been to do that. Used the brother in law's reader. It's a Snapon verdict d7. Cleared the main ecu codes, went into the additive ecu, cleared the code for the additive pump, reset the levels, and in special functions did a listening test on the pump actuator which worked fine. Did a listening test on the additive injectors but couldn't. Hear anything. I will post up tomorrow with the results after I've been to work, it's a straight 40 mile blast up the motorway.
  3. I have a 54 plate C8, 2.2 HDI, 105 000 miles. When i first got this car at 78 000 miles I started having antipollution faults, kept clearing the faults and they would come back after a bit.My Brother in law has his own service garage so it doesnt cost me anything to have codes read and cleared. Then I had the unblock diesel filter fault, so I replaced the DPF with a new one (not citroen) and replaced the DPF pressure sensor. This fixed the problem. Now I have the antipollution fault again, the codes are. Diesel additive system, Diesel additive level, and turbo solinoid valve. The engine light stays on for 4 to 5 starts and usually goes off, I normally have power but now and then it goes into limp mode, normally if i stop and switch off for a couple of minutes and carry on the light stays on but i have power back. The additive level is fine, over three litres in the tank. the turbo code is apparantly when the car goes into limp mode. ? dunno about that one. the additive system one i dont know either. What i didnt know is that there is another ECU just for the additive system, when the codes were read for this it had a code for diesel additive pump, this code would not clear. I spoke to citroen and you cannot get just the pump you need a whole new additive tank as its built in. I did this, changed the tank put the additive fluid in and within a few miles im back in limp mode. Does anyone know of this fault? is there a way of testing the pump, or could it be a fuse? if so what one .. Any help would be appreciated. There must be someone who knows how this system works. Thanks BB.
  4. Thanks for your input. I think I will go for a new pump, for the sake of a fiver. The new fuse cost a quid! I think I will go in under the wheel arch. I had to remove the bumper just to change the offside headlight bulb, the clip fell off so I had to take the whole light fitting out to retrieve it. Nightmare! Thanks again. BB.
  5. I had the same problem. I replaced the DPF and still kept on getting the unblock diesel filter error. Kept clearing the code and it came back after a few mins. All I had to do was replace the vacuum sensor which has the two tubes that go into the DPF. Fixed it.
  6. Nope. I belive the pump does both front and rear. It spins each way to pump to the front or rear.
  7. Hi all I have a 54 plate 2.2 HDI. The screen washers have all of a sudden packed in, The rear one never worked since i got the car, i could hear the pump but no water ever came out. Now the front has stopped. I checked fuse number 14 under the bonnet and it had blown, replaced it and it still doesnt work. Is there another fuse that could be related to the pump or is it the pump itself?? Any help would be welcome as i need it working for the MOT. Cheers. BB.
