  1. Its Admiral im with too, will be contacting them again in a few week once my private plate has transfered onto car so better prepare myself for another charge i guess..
  2. So far so good :) Im shocking at parking though with the size difference but been out and about in it today and loved it :) Nice car..
  3. Last renewed my insurance in December last year, made annual payment. Filled a form in today making the company aware that i needed the car on the policy changing. Before buying my car i got quotes which are half the price compare to old car. Yet my company have emailed me stating that the Citroen will cost me £32 more (from now until december) and the payment will be taken shortly. I dont understand why i have to pay extra to change to the car - this wasnt admin fees. When my insurance quotes were lower than i paid Im on 3 years no claims. 4 in Decemeber (fingers crossed) Ive heard if i cancel my insurance i wil receive a part refund, but also lose the no claims from setting this insurance up - which to me isnt worth it.. Is this correct?
  4. Agree Always speak to the insurance company and make them aware. One what people may think is a 'little' change could refuse a claim if not declared... Not worth the risk...
  5. Hi. Came onto this site last night for abit of advice. Collected my car today so thought it was time i introduced myself. Im Laura Previously drove a fiesta that i spent time/money modifying over the last 4 years. Started having problems with the car - needed a realiable car due to the amount i drive. Went into carshop last Saturday and put a deposit down on a Black 2010 Citroen C3, 23K on clock.. Previously mobility car.. Had a few issues with the carshop but finally collected today.. Since people founnd out i was gettin a Citroen ive not had many good comments, saying it was a mistake changing from Ford. I cant judge a car until ive owned one and although ive only had it a few hours im falling in love with it.. Was worried about the clutch (biting point) to start with but after a proper drive home today ive adjusted to it..
  6. well ive collected today and to be honest, the biting point isnt has high has i originally thought.. just need to get used to the size difference compare to my old one but hopefully that wont b long.. managed the drive home without stalling so impressed :)
  7. yes - i noticed the breaks also on the test drive... just going to take it steady for a few days untill i can get used to all the different changes. Thanks again..
  8. Thank you so much for the prompt reply and also the welcoming. Im purchasing from 'the car shop' opted for the extra warranty, but clutch is not covered in this, so thought id ask on here for opinons. I have googled the matter and alot seem to state that the citroens have the higger clutch but id rather get verification from acutal owners. I must worn you, i am quite a worrier when it comes to cars :) The reason for switching is because i need a realiable car and the ford fiesta i own is letting me down. I understand that cars have the odd issue and im not guaranteed to be problem free with me changing but hoping the Citroen will do me proud. Since telling people the deposit has been placed on the car i have had bad comments, but on the other hand excellent comments from people who have owned Citroens. With me not owning one in the past i do not feel i can judge like friends/family have. Really looking forward to collecting tomorrow. Although my loved fiesta is going im excited for the C3...
  9. sorry - just to confirm Car is C3 2010 Previously used has a mobility car. 23k on clock. 1.4i VTR+
  10. Hi. Im new to this site and currently finding my way around it. Ive been the owner of a ford fiesta for the past 4 years - decided to change and liked the look of the c3. Went to view one Saturday and test drove it and put a deposit down.. Due to collect tomorrow and 1 things bothering me, the biting point. It seems very high... Maybe its due to the change of car, has on the fiesta i barely have to take my foot of clutch to get the biting point. What everyones opinion on the matter? Does the C3 have a high biting point? Can anyone compare it to other car makes?
