  1. Just had the C4 remapped and figures went up from 109 bhp to 142 & torque 276 to 318 nm. Had it done as I use the car to tow our small caravan. So far the car feels smoother & more urgent when accelerating.
  2. Sounds to me like a heater plug.
  3. When can you feel the turbo cutting in? You say it works fine at high revs, I would have thought the turbo would come in around 15-1750 revs?
  4. Ask me one on sport. :) 100 yards, 10 miles? I suppose it would depend on how the car is being towed. I've never heard of a restriction before.
  5. Welcome t the forum Chris & compliments of the season. The C5 will suit you fine doing motorway miles, a very nice car. You won't be able to pick my brains there not much there, but there are some very knowledgeable people on here always ready to help out.
  6. reetings & welcome to the forum. I agree, its a cracking shed you have there.

  8. Welcome Carl and compliments of the season
  9. Haven't been on here long but it is an excellent forum. I too thank those working behind the scenes.
  10. My car goes into eco mode 30 mins after the engine has been switched off to protect the battery. Think I read that in the hand book. Sounds lime you have another problem tho, if the engine won't turn over and its a new battery
  11. If you have condensation on the inside of the window & the temp drops below freezing you will get frost on the inside of the window. My wifes car stands outside & if the sun has been on it during the day then the temp drops, it also gets condensation on the inside, sadly thats what happens.
  12. Greetings & welcome to the forum Steve.
  13. Greetings & welcome to the forum
  14. I don't, but have you had a look on the tube? Always loads of good info on there
  15. Hope you get it sorted. Cold weather is also hard on batteries & if its low on charge will not help it at all.
  16. Greetings & welcome to the forum. A friend of mine has a brother who lives in Germany and for many years has ran Citroens. He tells many stories of unreliable German cars, BM's & VW's and has never had a problem with any of his Citroens. It makes me wonder why they do get a bad press.
  17. Welcome to the forum Ryan. We has an AX many yrs ago, good little car. Look forward to seeing the pics.
  18. Greetings & welcome to the forum Freddy. I've had a few Citroens in my time too.
  19. Greetings & welcome to the forum. There are some helpfull members on here & lots of good info.
  20. Having a bit of thought on this RAC service, its all about reducing emmisions into the atmosphere and the EU are "in charge" of this. Thing is the recovery vehicle is pumping out gases on its way to the break downs, probably much more than the car carrying a few pounds extra would? Don't make any sense to me.
  21. I like this forum. You learn a lot from it.
  22. Thats interesting Paul. One of the reasons for chosing the C4 was the weight, the car I have now weight 1350, and the vans unladen weight is 1165. We don't put much in the van other than sleeping bags, cups & the battery, so probably at 1220 or there abouts. Looks like I'll be looking for a weighbridge. Thanks for the info.
  23. Greetings & welcome to the forum Gregorious
