  1. Can anyone shed some light on this shaking? Had brand new tyres few weeks ago, laser tracking done same time. New brake pads 2 weeks ago then link rods last week. I'm thinking wheel balancing (awkward car) but wouldn't it of shaked before?
  2. I have a 2002 C5 2.2 hdi 16v. I've had the car around 18 months. Only noticed this judder about couple weeks ago, anti roll bar links needed doing thought maybe was something to do with that, I replaced link rods today, car is perfect apart from judder still there. Anyone?? Clutch is fine etc. Only happens when accelerating hardish. ??????
  3. And yes I did see coastlines' suggestion after I wrote up. I am going to try what he says. Thankyou
  4. Cables move freely. Defo the lever's can only move with bit of force. Did separate cables from levers and tested independently.
  5. Hi, j have the same problem with my brakes, handbrake lever stuck. Very annoying as cant use when I park up, just leaving in gear. I just seen this suggestion after I put a question up, but I will defo be trying this on weekend. Let you know how I get on. Thanks
  6. I have a 2.2 hdi 16v sx, recently changed brake pads thinking this may help, but no. The handbrake lever on the calipers has stuck on both sides. I can pull the handbrake but they wont release, I have to manually knock the levers open with a hammer. So now I don't use handbrake just leave car in gear. I've spayed with lots release oil with no success. Is there anyway I can release levers somehow recondition them, or am I gonna have to replace calipers?😓 Ideas???
