Hi I've got a C8 2.0 petrol, 2005 model, which has problems with headlights not working. I am fairly confident they were working when we picked the car up, but sometime between driving home that day and a few weeks later, I noticed the headlights do not come on. It does not have auto lights and I have replaced the bulbs (even as far as taking working ones out my other car, the swapping them around again, to no avail!). I hunted around and found the C8 has no fuse for headlights - it's all integrated into the fusebox, so I also replaced the fusebox (original was missing the cover, so would have allowed water ingress which went a long way to explain some issues). Fixed a few problems by replacing the fuse box, but still, no headlights. I have side lights. I have no headlights and no main beams. However, the green light icon does come on, as does the blue icon when I turn the headlights and main beams on, which (I think) rules out the comm unit. So, where to look now? Anyone have any experience of this in a C8? Cheers, Grant

Hi guys Sorry to jump in here, but this thread seems to be active and most relevent to my situation. I've got a 2005 C8 (2.0 petrol) and also have the Lexia tool. I bought mine about 15 months ago or so and has "9780.Z5" printed on it (looks like this). I assume this means it will NOT work on the C8? All my attempts have been fruitless, using various versions of Diagbox, as well as using the flash tool to change the firmware, but nothing works. The same cable I have used on a 2006 307 and C4, as well as a 2009 C4 Grand Picasso, without any problems. Is there any way to make this cable work with the C8, or will I need to get a 'Full chip' A.1281 Z? Thanks!

Hi folks Just joined in the hope somebody can offer some insight to a few issues I'm having which I will post about shortly. Had a few PSA's over the years, starting with a Citroen Xsara 2.0HDI as my first car, purchased solely for the poseidon blue colour and nothing else. Next was a Honda Civic CTDI, followed by another, then an Audi A3, VW Golf, VW Bora, VW Passat...and then back to the PSA's again. Peugeot 307 SW (still got), then a C4 and finally a Citroen C8; the problem machine! I'm in Fife, Scotland, and can help with Lexia/Planet/Diagbox if anyone needs it too. Cheers
